Select another quantitative study from your literature review concerning your PICOT question and delineate the research variables.

Respond to the following questions/areas:

1. Are the independent, dependent, or research variables and concepts clearly identified in the study?
2. Do the variables manipulated or measured in the study align with those identified in the purpose, objectives, questions, or hypotheses?
3. Were essential demographic variables examined and summarized in the study?
4. Were extraneous variables identified and appropriately controlled in the study?
5. Are there any uncontrolled extraneous variables that might have impacted the findings? Is there a discussion on the potential impact of these variables on the results?
6. Summarize the data collection, data management and analysis, problem statement, and interpretation of the findings.
7. Explain the concepts of reliability and validity and discuss how statistical methods can influence them.
8. Identify the statistical procedures used. Do these procedures contribute to a reliable and valid conclusion?
9. Assess whether the author’s interpretation of the results is appropriate.
10. Evaluate the clinical significance of the findings.
