1. To demonstrate the student’s ability to comply with best practices in the preparation of
a Bill of Quantities for particular building elements.
2. To interpret the Agreed Rules of Measurement in the measurement of selected building
elements.
3. To present a professional readable document.
Project Scope- Measurement and Take-off
You are employed by a Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice as a member of a team of
surveyors to undertake the MEASURE of various building elements which have to be
altered as a result of a design change
