Take-home exam in Sociology (social theory):
Critically assess the contribution of Ibn Khaldun to social theory.
Demonstrate that you have actually read Ibn Khaldun’s text, and that you have carefuly thought about his concepts and method. The maximum length: 1500 words. Use the Key readings and recommnded readings. Make use of lecture notes, but you should produce your own, original work on the basis of your reading and critical thinking.
You do not rhave to attach a long ist of references, but you are encouraged to give carefully selected references (which are not included in the word count).
