Dairy products have been a staple in the Irish diet for many years. In the last number of years, plant-based milk alternatives have become more available to buy and the interest in these products has risen. This study will look at how much is known about cows’ milk and plant-based milk alternatives, as well as how they are both used in the diets of Irish middle-aged women specifically today.
