With the time-sensitive world we live in, it is important to have a document that articulates a point in an abbreviated form. These documents are critical in boardrooms when management asks for a quick report on a lengthy project. Think of it as somewhat of an elevator pitch about the project. For this milestone, you will capture your research project in a one-page paper that could be used to summarize your book impact, providing a shortened version of your longer presentation/paper.

Submission: Principles of Management Research Project

For your project, you will research a theme, principle, or key issue from the field of management and synthesize your findings in a 4-5-page paper. You will explore how it developed, examine how it manifests in current workplace practices, and reflect on how you will approach issues related to this topic in your future career.

The goal of this project is to give you the opportunity to take a "deeper" look into a topic and learn more about it. For example, if you enjoyed the topic of motivation, you might look at exploring how motivation plays a critical role in the employee`s engagement and ability to get work done.
