When working with colleagues, it is important to agree on SMART objectives. You will be required for this assessment criterion to demonstrate that you are able to build and communicate common goals while respecting different perspectives. The same process used when negotiating service users/family members needs should still apply! The focus remains primarily focused on achieving shared envisioned results; negotiation skills may come into play depending upon who one deals with within their organization or setting (e..g., whether private clients).
