Emerging and Reemerging Infectious Diseases of Humans
A pathogen is a biological agent that causes illness or disease to its host.
An emerging disease is one that has occurred in a population for the first time.
A reemerging disease has existed previously but is rapidly increasing in the number of new cases or in a specific geographic range.
This week, we will examine some emerging and reemerging pathogens and diseases.
Feel free to download the Grading Rubric.
Do not edit your posts after the due dates because they will be marked late and points will be deducted from your discussion board grade.
Include the word count in each of your posts (exclude the header, title, references list, etc.).
