Field education is a core component in all social work degree programs. The 60 days of this first placement and the fortnightly seminars provide a forum in which to explore issues concerning the theory/practice relationship, the development of core social work practice knowledge, skills and values as well as opportunities for support and consultation with other students and Faculty staff.
