Task

1. Choose your topic from the list provided that you would like to focus on for your A4 poster presentation.

2. Before starting the poster, conduct thorough research to gather current sources of credible information that support the `for` and `against` points on the chosen topic. Ensure that the sources are reliable, reputable, and up-to-date.

3. Remember to be mindful and avoid making stereotypical comments about older people and their ability to use technology. Approach the topic with respect and acknowledge the diversity and varying levels of technological adoption among older individuals.

4. Open your preferred computer program (Canva, Microsoft Publisher, or PowerPoint) and create a new document with an A4 size layout. Your poster must be created on a computer program and not handwritten. 

5. Divide the document into two sections: one for presenting `for` points and the other for presenting `against` points. Draw a horizontal line in the center of the document to separate the two sections.

6. Label the top section as "For" and the bottom section as "Against" to clearly indicate the arguments you will be presenting.

7. In the `For` section, list the key points or arguments supporting the use of technology in rehabilitation for older individuals. Write each point concisely, and beneath each point, include a brief citation or reference to a current source of credible information that supports that specific point.

8. In the `Against` section, list the key points or arguments challenging the use of technology in rehabilitation for older individuals. Again, write each point concisely, and provide a brief citation or reference to a current source of credible information that supports the specific point.

9. Import or insert relevant images, icons, or graphics to enhance the visual appeal of your poster and to make it easier for viewers to distinguish between the `For` and `Against` sections. Ensure that the visual elements align with the content and contribute to the overall message of your poster.

10. Use different font sizes and styles to highlight important keywords or statements, making it easier for viewers to quickly grasp the main ideas of each point.

11. Consider using additional text boxes or placeholders to add supporting details, statistics, or examples under each main point within the `For` and `Against` sections. Include the appropriate citations or references for each piece of information.

12. Remember you must include a recommendation statement at the bottom of the poster. This statement should summarize your overall position based on the presented arguments and evidence. Provide a clear recommendation regarding the use of technology in rehabilitation for older individuals, considering the `for` and `against` points. Ensure that your recommendation is supported by the information and evidence you have presented.

13. Pay attention to the overall layout and organization of your poster. Ensure that the information flows logically and that it is visually pleasing and easy to read.

14. Save your poster as a PDF (not as an image file). Remember that you can only submit one (1) file to Turnitin. Please ensure you combine your poster, script and reference list into one (1) file to upload to Turnitin.
