Hi, I am in my third and final year of university. One of the modules that I am currently doing in is sports, media and society. As part of this module I need to write a 3000 word essay on the question ‘To what extent does the
media coverage of sport reinforce the concepts of hegemonic masculinity
and emphasised femininity?’. Bibliography is not included in the word count. Some of the things we will get marked on are: Introduction, Structure and
argument, Range of
appropriate sources, Use of examples, Knowledge and understanding, Critical
judgment, Punctuation,
spelling and syntax and Referencing and
bibliography. So throughout the essay it is just stating how media coverage of sport reinforces the concepts of hegemonic masuclinity and emphasised feminity with examples of different instances like magazine covers or things that broadcasters have said/shown on television. I have written the first few paragraphs of this question so if you could just carry it on and finish it with a conclusion that would be amazing. Please do not repeat any points I have already made. I will attatch a word document with the paragraphs I have already written. They are very rough paragraphs as I still need to go back over them and add examples etc. The paragraphs that I have highlighted are just ones I have not finished.
