Tuam Community Childcare Centre is community-based and is currently owned and managed by Western Traveller Intercultural Development (WTID). Tuam Community Childcare Centre provides an enriching and challenging educational environment, where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally. We strive to provide a welcoming, calm, and caring environment where children can play and learn at their own pace, making discoveries and choices for themselves along the way.
Our aim is to provide a childcare programme, which promotes optimal development for each child, supports parents, upholds best practices of early childhood care and education, and promotes collaborations that help all children realise their potential. To achieve this WTID works in partnership with parents, staff, and children, by providing a secure learning environment, which enables children to be happy, confident, and independent and to have positive and productive experiences during their time with the service.
