Another point from the reading that was interesting was that of non monetary liabilities. These include “obligations that cannot be met in the form of cash payments, such as warranty service on goods a company sells.”

This may not be applicable in direct health care services, as there are no guarantees for assessments, interventions and treatments. In fact, patients often return to the ED for the same symptoms if they don’t improve quickly.
