Description: Here is what to include in your research report for your historical research paper. This includes information about how we will grade this, due dates, and a topic selection list. Your paper will need to be in MLA format. An example of this can be found below.
Objective/Summary: Each student will need to select a topic from a provided list of research topics. You will be required to research the topic, find at least 3 sources (5 maximum) on your topic and summarize what you learned, explain the main idea, important people, details, and how your topic impacted American society, then wrap up with conclusion. A description of each graded portion and what to include in them can be found below.
Subject Definition – This first paragraph is where you will define your subject and sources. You need to include your topic, your sources need to be explained (where did you get the info and why did you choose that site/article, etc). You must also include why you chose this topic, and why it interested you. (25 pts)
