PROJECT PLAN DOCUMENT : 3000 Words

Task summary:

Develop and submit a comprehensive project plan document that could serve as the foundation for launching a real-world project. You will propose a project focused on one of the following areas: a new product or service, a process improvement, or a business transformation initiative. Your plan should demonstrate a clear structure, strategic alignment, and practical feasibility.

Assignment instructions:

The project will be within an organisation of your choice.

Your Project Plan should include the following:

• Background on the chosen organisation and its challenge to address
• Project aims, objectives and expected benefits to explain what the project needs to achieve.
• Outline a business case, comparing multiple options and making an investment appraisal.
• Project approach: a justification of the methodology selected for this project.
• Stakeholder Management Plan, mapping power/interest
• Team Organisation, including a RACI matrix.
• Schedule, including a discussion of the critical path
• Risk Register, including responses.
