Discuss a moral choice you have faced, or are facing, and analyze it from the perspective of either Deontology or Consequentialism.
You should be able to cite your textbook and/or the lecture notes as you compose your argument. Keep in mind that this is not a shoot-from-the-hip exercise in which you simply state your own opinion without regard to citing philosophical sources that would support your choice. You need, therefore, to understand things like Kant’s notion of a
“good will” and the Utilitarian argument for the greatest amount of happiness for all concerned.
