Assessment Title: Critical evaluation of an organisation’s response during the cost-of-living crisis in the UK

Individual Report: 1500 words

Report task: Critically evaluate how successful your chosen organisation has been in responding to the cost-of-living crisis in the UK and provide recommendations for their future success.

You can either select one of the following businesses, OR a business of your choice:

1. EDF

3. Aldi
4. Costa

Requirements:

1. Undertake relevant secondary research which should include:
2. your chosen organisation’s structure, mission statement, organisational strategy, and company culture etc.
3. the challenges your organisation has been facing and the strategies they employ to react to the rise of living cost.
4. new or alternative strategies and ideas that could be implemented by your organisation for future success.
5. Students should develop their critical thinking skills as they use the results of their research to evaluate how effectively their organisation reacted to the rise of living cost and continued to operate. They should also critically evaluate the effectiveness of other alternative strategies & ideas presented in their research that could be adopted by the organisation for their future success.
6. Students should apply their own reasoning and judgment as they draw conclusions on the effectiveness of the response from the organisation.
7. Provide final recommendations on how the organisation can continue their success.
