1. Carry out an interview with the manager of the setting to gain an understanding of how they afford learning and development opportunities for children. What type of curriculum plans do they use? How effective e are those plans?
2. Carry out an observation in a Montessori setting when the children are crying out a language or numeracy activity and evaluate how the activity went and the children’s learning from it.
3. Carry out a week’s observation on a Montessori setting to understand how their curriculum plan works and the opportunities for the children to learn and develop. You can use a variety of observation methods.
