Overview

The objective of this assessment is to assess your knowledge and performance in monitoring and maintaining the health and safety of children and the ability to contribute to ongoing improvement of workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Research project

For this assessment, you will be required to research the regulations and requirements for excursions and transporting children. You will access and use the early childhood education and care simulated organisation.

You will research what Little.ly need to do to transport children safely to attend excursions that are outside the Little.ly service. You must use existing Little.ly policies and procedures and other credible and authoritative sources of information.

Document your research findings using the Research Findings template provided below.

Once completed you will need to submit this assessment to your Teacher/Assessor for marking.

Research and document the requirements for introducing a service to transport children for your ECEC service. Information that must be included in the research includes:
