Assignment:

1. Find two commercials and analyze the contents and what each commercial is arguing for. Could be a commercial for a product, could be a PSA, or could be a political ad. Be sure to also talk about fairness or the level of biases in the commercial. Give me a link to the commercial(s) in question if possible, as I assume most people will get these off YouTube.

2. After looking into how real life is represented in commercials, you can see how reality is represented and often tweaked or distorted to ft the purpose of the ad. Nowadays we are always online in some form; how do you think advertising has adapted to fit in virtual space? More specifically, how does in operate to shape your perception of the world virtually?

3. Tell me about an event or special gathering you`ve had growing up, big or small. Could be as simple as a county fair, could be a cultural event, or maybe a family gathering. How did it serve to form a community, both around you and within you?
