They had a great conversation and she offered him a job if he could sort out a more long-term visa plan to remain in Australia permanently. She was happy to support him in any way to achieve this, but did recommend that he look at all options, as the business had to use their funds carefully due to the financial crisis. She, however, was really eager for him to stay. He began working for her straight away and has hit the ground running! He loves the job, and the community loves him! He found accommodation and is becoming quite popular among the locals and recently celebrated his 30 ^th birthday there. It was a special night. The party continued on the main street, and everyone ended up doing the “ Can Can ” when the clock hit midnight. Julian has decided that he has found his new true home in Castlemaine and is keen to continue his passion for baking and start a new life here.
