Students will write a paper on an assessment instrument, the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). Papers should discuss the measure’s development, reliability and validity, norming process, uses, strengths, and weaknesses. Papers should also discuss diversity and linguistic issues related to the measure.
Papers should be written in APA format and will be graded on specificity, clarity, content, and grammar. Papers should be at least 7 pages, double-spaced, but no longer than 15 pages, double-spaced; the aforementioned page count does not include the title or references pages. Font should be no larger than 12-point and margins should not exceed 1 inch.
